We’ve been making watches for a long time. It started with clocks made from stone and other natural materials, which eventually evolved into the wood watches we’re known for today. Along the way, we experimented with many natural materials. Some we learned to love, and some we learned to leave behind.
We always return to those we love, and that’s exactly what we’ve done with leather. Leather is one of the natural materials that Tense started making watches with in 1971. Just like our wood watches, The Leather Hampton is made by hand in our workshop in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The straps are fine Italian leather, and the cases are the woods we’ve developed to be strong and durable. Inside is the Japanese Miyota movement we’ve always trusted.
